Great, remote site. Easy to find and host was easy to contact and answered questions quickly. Great experience!

Locked gate and didn’t stay.
We ended up not staying, took us to a locked gate and zero cell service to contact host. We had to go find another site as it was close to disk and didn’t feel like we had time to wait for a response, currently waiting to see if we get a refund.

Echo Canyon Campsite
Peaceful and private
We stayed at site 2 and loved the space and privacy. If you listen to the directions and photo reference, there is no problem finding the sites. We had to use levelers under our car to have a level sleeping spot in our RTT but it was easy and typically expected for a primitive site. It was peaceful & we even watched deer grazing in the morning. We will definitely be back when in the area

Echo Canyon Campsite
Directions were straight forward and the campsite was easy to find. Perfect and secluded. Saw lots of deer. Would come back again. The campsite had a little bit of trash and a blanket left over (we stayed at the southern bigger campsite). Not the owners fault. Fire ring was in a good spot and had lots of privacy.

Mud alert!
Be cautions if camping here after recent rains or snow melt!
The mud up top of the hill gets DEEP!
Lots of ruts from precious campers.
Aside from that, the property was gorgeous. We may try it again during the dry season. Also, beware to only have a fires when appropriate. The neighbors are very concerned, understandable so!
Better markings and signage would be assistive!
Please update the written directions. The gate is basically unnoticeable at this point.
It took a few minutes to figure out which path to follow. Signage up top was laying on the ground.

Last Camp Trip of the Season
Quiet area that allowed me to camp and enjoy nature without any disturbances. Stayed at site 1, plenty of room for several tents, screen shelter, etc... Easy access to Echo Canyon Reservoir, close to Pagosa Springs.
